Halls Creek Bay Halls Creek entered the Colorado just downstream from the site of Hall’s ferry crossing. Charles Hall had his ranch about six miles up the creek. Today at full pool, Halls Creek Bay is a long, wide, and shallow place to water-ski and camp, filled with many sandy coves in its upper reaches. Halls Creek Bay is connected to Bullfrog Bay by Smith Pass when the pool elevation is high. Despite its wide upper reaches, the mouth of the bay can be deceiving and hide areas of shallows.
